Daily Reading of the Bible for 100 days
Psalms 46 remind us that no matter what happens we should have the conviction that the Lord is Our Present Help at every time of need and through every troubled situation, we make a conscious decision "To be still and know He is God", that nothing is impossible for Him, that He's the Alpha and Omega, He is the King of Kings and everything is under His charge.
What a consolation to know we have a God who avails Himself to us when we are in need despite our sinfulness, weaknesses or nothingness. And so as we read the Gospels we see the person of Jesus: He came for sinners, He forgave sins, Healed the blind, lame, the sick, dined with tax collectors, accepted the rejected, defended the condemned and died like a slave for sins He never committed. By His death on the cross, He has given the Gift of New Life for all who Believe. There's better time like Now; Believe and Receive the fullness of what He died to give us; Fullness of Life and Eternity with Him.
